Well, who the hell am I then?
I go by the name Cal or DJ Cal when I make bootlegs or mixes.
First of all, this page is really not updated with bootlegs any longer. I doubt that it ever will be again.
My real name is Calle Hansson and I'm a 34 year old guy from Gothenburg/Sweden.
I've been working with sound professionally for almost 15 years, mainly as a sound designer and composer.
Companies I've worked for includes Digital Illusions, HiQ, Combination, Ninja Games and 1337 Game Design.
I currently work as a sound designer and composer for a swedish company called Combination.
I'm responible for all sound in our casino games.
I also have my own freelance company called Audio Allstars where I produce sound & music for games,
commersials, websites or anything else I find interesting and challenging.
I've made music for as long as I can remember and it is ansolutely my main interest.
I play most instruments on a standard basis but I used to play electric organ and drums on a more regular basis
so these can be considered my main instruments.
I discovered the world of bootlegs when a friend sent me a link to GYBO and said that I should check it out.
He promised that I would like what the people there were doing. That proved to be an understatement. I LOVED it!
A couple of weeks later I got my hands on some tunes by DJ Crook Air and was just amazed of how well the tracks
he mixed fit together. So I decided to give it a try myself. Things worked out quite well, and the rest is history.
