Why do you run this site?
Because I finally can! Thanks to a good friend that's giving me bandwidth and a server I can now have my own site. I've been trying to do this for years.
And the main reason I have this is site to show my technical abilities in mixing and remixing music.
Downloads. How do they work?
If you click on the name of the song or the video you will see a infoscreen with a description of the tune. Click on the disc-icon to download the file. If you are having trouble with the file playing in your browser instead of downloading to your harddrive, rightclick on the disc-icon and choose "save target as" instead.
It's as simple as that.
I've been trying to watch your videos but I seem to be missing a codec. What do I need to do to get it to work?
It has gone quite some time since I made the videos so I'm not really sure what codecs I've used. Most likely it's divx and xvid codecs. Try downloading the great player VideoLan including codecs at www.videolan.org/vlc/ .
That should solve the problem.
I want to be listed on your links page.
Drop me a mail and tell me why I should add you to my links page. If I think your site is cool, I'll link to you.
Can I link to you from my site?
Sure, go ahead. That would be great. But, please don't hotlink to my files. If you want people to listen to my work, direct them to my frontpage www.robootlegs.com
DISCLAIMER:
All mixes linked to on this site are created for entertainment, and as demonstration of mixing and production techniques only. The copyright for the individual tracks used remains with the artist. If you like the mixes I have created, please track down the original tracks and support the artists. If you are a representative of either the artist or the publishing company and would like the tracks removed, please contact me directly and I will happily take the tracks offline. Better still, if you are a representative of the artist and like what I have done, contact me directly and offer me some proper remix work.
Thanks.
A big, big, BIG thank you to John for the webspace and the bandwidth.
Also I would like to thank Steve Dunstan (jalist) for the exellent e107 website builder.
Easy program, yet so powerful.
Thank you to Anders Hejdenberg for making the logo.
And last but not least, thank YOU for listening to my work. If it wasn't for you I wouldn't be doing this.
